Lecture Festival: Five Powerful Evenings at Esbjerg Festival

The Lecture Festival returns during Esbjerg Festival—this year offering a series of stories that move, provoke, and inspire. Across five evenings, FOF Sydvest invites you into conversations, moods, and destinies designed to spark reflection.

The Lecture Festival kicks off on Friday, June 14, with the compelling and touching lecture, Pigerne fra Sprogø, shedding light on a forgotten chapter of Danish history, providing insights into the lives of women placed—and often forgotten—in the shadow of the system.

The week continues with Pastor Peter's musical and thoughtful interpretations of Cohen and Cash at Grundtvigskirken. The following day, Esbjerg Bryghus hosts a lecture with beer tasting—an evening satisfying both tastebuds and curiosity.

Mid-week, the conversation moves into the tipi at Heerups Have, exploring the role of faith in daily life. Finally, the festival concludes with a topical and informative lecture on Greenland's past, present, and future.

The Lecture Festival is for those seeking deeper perspectives and fresh insights to bring home. Spaces are limited, so we recommend purchasing tickets early.
