Something about the danish poet Halfdan

Trinity Church sets the stage for a lovely afternoon as part of Esbjerg Festival.
Singer Dorte Mørup Tagmose honors the poet Halfdan Rasmussen with a selection of his many well-known songs. She is accompanied by pianist Søren Kaspersen.

Few poets have managed to be as well-known and beloved here at home as Halfdan Rasmussen, and to be translated into so many European languages. This has resulted in a wealth of literary awards over the years.
Halfdan Rasmussen celebrates his 110th birthday this year.
The concert is for both children and adults, with plenty of opportunities to sing along.
