GASTRO & REUSE: The Festival’s Long-Table Dinner

Do you love meeting new people and enjoying good food? Then make sure to mark your calendar for Gastro & Genbrug — the festival’s long-table dinner on Monday during Esbjerg Festival.

Café Finns Paraply, KORN180, and Esbjerg Festival invite everyone to join one of the city's most sustainable dinners. There's room for all — young, old, and families with children.

We’re so excited to welcome everyone to this brand-new event at Esbjerg Festival, where community, co-creation, and sustainability take center stage. It’s all about connecting with new people, sharing a cozy evening, and creating something truly special together.

At this new long-table dinner, both social and climate sustainability are front and center. The table will be beautifully set with upcycled décor, handmade table runners, and vintage porcelain and tableware — all collected with care. You’ll be sitting at one of the city’s finest – and longest – communal tables.

Everything has been thought through – even the decorations can be taken home!

The table décor will double as a wild, upcycled flea market. We hope it sparks fun conversations across the table, and everyone is welcome to bring home a piece of the evening. Just donate what you can and want to KORN180 and Café Finns Paraply — that way, everyone can join in.

Tonight’s Menu:

You can choose between two different meat dishes with potatoes and salad (pork and chicken),
or enjoy a delicious vegetarian option.

There will be free water and juice served with the meal.

The evening ends with coffee and cake.

All of this for just 50 DKK per person + fee.

The food is generously donated by local partners.

Children are invited to help create the coolest collaborative furniture art piece, which will later be sold at auction.
We hope the kids will join in the fun — playing with colors, drawing, and tagging the old furniture to give it new life.
