BLÆSTIVAL x DOKKEN CITY BEACH – Thursday, June 19 & Saturday, June 21, 2025

Dokken City Beach turns into a creative lighthouse for children and breeze-blown souls. For 30 DKK per child (adults free when accompanying children), you can dive into:

• Creative workshops – create colorful bead art, draw maritime scenes, design your own badges, and paint postcards inspired by the wildlife of the North Sea and Esbjerg’s fishing history.

• Fisher-Troels Racing – strap on a little papier-mâché fishing boat and catch herring with a rod as you twist through the sandy course.

• Seagull Poop Toss – fling soft seagull “poops” filled with buckwheat at cans decorated with Fisher-Troels’ face.

• Cod Throw – get “cod fish” safely into the fish crates in one flying motion.

• Fishing Pond – fish trash from the pond and save Little Herring (Bette Sild) from ocean pollution.

• Sensory Bingo – stick your hands into seaweed, sand, and shells and guess what the North Sea is hiding.

Our creative skippers are ready to guide you through all the activities – come play, learn, and help protect the sea!

When hunger – or a sweet tooth – strikes, you’ll find food, ice cream, and coffee stalls ready at Dokken City Beach, so the whole breeze-blown crew can recharge between races, seagull poop tossing, and cod throwing.

Rainy skies getting cheeky? Don’t worry – we’ve got covered chill-out zones, so the fun can continue without getting your shoes wet.
