X Factor winner Leslie to open Esbjerg Festival with new single
Today marks the release of "What’s Up," the brand-new single from this year’s X Factor winner, Leslie. And we can now reveal that Leslie will be opening Esbjerg Festival 2025 with an exclusive live performance on the main square, Torvet, on Friday, 13 June at 6:15 PM.
The opening of Esbjerg Festival will also be Leslie's first concert since winning X Factor – and her very first performance in Esbjerg. That’s something the city’s mayor is thrilled about:
“We’re incredibly proud to present Leslie as the opening act for this year’s Esbjerg Festival. Leslie has shown all of Denmark what an amazing talent she is – and now we can’t wait for Esbjerg to experience her live, right here on her home turf,” says Mayor Jesper Frost Rasmussen.
With more than 118 unique events on the programme, Esbjerg Festival is ready to deliver a spectacular and festive week for all ages – and Leslie’s homecoming will undoubtedly be a highlight for many.
“We’re so happy that Leslie said yes to performing at the festival, and we truly hope lots of people will come join us for the opening and see her live here in Esbjerg. There’s no doubt it’s going to be something very special,” says Event Director Kirsten Bisgaard Kirchner.
