### *Stories from the Folk Tradition*

After three years at the Folk Music Programme, carefully nurturing everything I hoped to see grow, I am incredibly excited to present my folk music garden at my bachelor graduation concert.

But what is folk music, really? Is it dance music? Is it music that tells stories? Is it a medium that creates relationships and communities? These are questions I have been asking myself throughout my three years at the Folk Music Programme. With this concert, I explore exactly that.

You can look forward to a colorful experience featuring Low German music, newly composed Nordic music, and improvised music. Festive music, reflective music, adventurous music, and nostalgic music.

There will be dance, and you may even be invited to become part of the concert yourself. I look forward to seeing you and celebrating the many faces of folk music together!
