# Kids Tour Esbjerg 2026

Join Denmark’s Most Fun Bike Race for Kids!  Now, all children aged 3-10 in Esbjerg have the chance to become cycling stars for a day as Kids Tour comes to Esbjerg Festival!

We can't wait to welcome the whole family to **Kids Tour** – a day where all children aged 3-10 can feel like true cycling stars! It’s not about winning; it’s all about having fun!

With cycling, play, and exciting activities, we focus on joy, road safety, exercise, and healthy values—all in a space where families can enjoy a great time together.

### **Event Area**

The **Kids Tour event area** is designed for the whole family. All activities here are free, and from 10:00 AM, kids and parents can dive into a range of entertaining and educational activities.

- **Traffic Playground** – Learn the rules of the road and earn your very own bike license.
- **The Nivea Sun tent:** Get good advice on sun safety and take part in competitions at the prize wheel.
- **Zendium Creativity Corner** – Get creative with drawings and take home a toothpaste gift.
- **Kids Kantina** – Grab some delicious treats when hunger strikes!

### **The Bike Race**

At **12:00 PM**, we kick off the bike race with a joint **warm-up and safety check**. The track is a **1 km loop**, safely closed off from traffic. Children race in different heats depending on age and ability:

🚴 **Heat 1**: 1-2 laps (Ages 3-4)
 🚴 **Heat 2**: 2-3 laps (Ages 5-6)
 🚴 **Heat 3**: 3-4 laps (Ages 7-8)
 🚴 **Heat 4**: 4-6 laps (Ages 9-10)

### **Tickets & Goodiebags**

- **Participation requires a ticket (50 DKK per child)**.
- Every participant receives:
 ✅ Race number
 ✅ Gold medal
 ✅ Water bottle
 ✅ A **goodiebag** filled with surprises!
- Parents can **run alongside** their child in Heat 1 (no ticket required).

### **Program Schedule**

🕙 **10:00 AM** – Kids Tour event area opens (registration available on-site)
 🕛 **12:00 PM** – Heat 1 starts
 🕧 **12:30 PM** – Heat 2 starts
 🕐 **1:00 PM** – Heat 3 starts
 🕜 **1:30 PM** – Heat 4 starts
 🕒 **3:00 PM** – End of event

### **FAQ & Important Info**

✅ All children (ages 3-10) can participate.
 ✅ **Helmet is required** for all participants.
 ✅ The event area is **free** for everyone, including non-racers.
 ✅ Sign-ups are available on-site, but **come early**!
 ✅ A certified first-aid responder will be present.
