Follow the creation of Esbjerg’s new, striking artistic landmark as the internationally acclaimed street artist Young Jarus from Canada transforms Blue Water’s silo by Adgangsvejen at Esbjerg Harbour into a gigantic work of art.
Over the coming weeks, the silo will gradually take shape as an impressive mural that, through its sheer scale and location, will become a new visual landmark for residents, visitors and everyone arriving in the city via the harbour.

Young Jarus is known worldwide for his detailed, vibrant murals that blend classical portraiture with contemporary street art. Now, he brings his artistic signature to Esbjerg with a piece that both celebrates the city’s identity and brings new energy and international attention to the harbour area.

The enormous mural is painted directly onto the silo’s façade and can be experienced day by day as the artwork grows in scale. The process offers a rare insight into the creation of a monumental mural — from the first sketches and measurements to the final details several metres above the ground.
