We’re making patches and wall hangings together! Come by and create a patch with HUSRUM, which will be transformed into wall hangings featuring patches from all 7 HUSRUM cities this autumn, exhibited in rotation across the cities.
Esbjerg
From early May until July, HUSRUM Esbjerg invites you to join CraftKomSammen—a creative community where we bring attention to loneliness, presence, creativity, and togetherness through craftwork and personal stories.
During Esbjerg Festival, we'll set up in Heerups Have, and you're invited to stop by and help create a patch.
When summer ends, we’ll combine all the patches into a large wall hanging to be exhibited in rotation across the 7 HUSRUM cities.
How to participate:
🧵 Create a patch measuring 15 x 15 cm—you can crochet, knit, or sew.
🎨 Colors or motifs can symbolize what loneliness and/or community means to you.
📝 Feel free to include a note with your name, optionally your age, and the thoughts behind your patch.
📍 Drop off your patch at HUSRUM Esbjerg, Skolegade 52.
You’re very welcome to stop by and craft a patch together with us! We have plenty of yarn available—and you’re also welcome to take some home and continue patch-making from there 🧶
